When Should You See a Podiatrist?
We recommend a visit if your child:
Complains of foot or leg pain, especially at night or after activity.
Trips or falls more than other children their age.
Walks on their tiptoes frequently after the age of three.
Has feet that appear “very flat” after the age of six.
Has an unusual walking style (gait) that concerns you.
Has skin or nail problems, like ingrown toenails or warts.Needs advice on the right shoes for school or sports.
