Foot Mobilisation Therapy

Foot Mobilisation therapy (FMT) works by releasing soft tissue restrictions and realigning joints that are working at the wrong angles for your feet to be happy. The method is derived from research based chiropractic techniques however podiatrists (foot, ankle and lower limb specialists) are great practitioners for this hands on technique to get stiff joints moving again, so your feet can function at their optimum.
Imaging or simple exercises, or both, may be prescribed to reinforce what we have achieved in your corrective therapy. FMT is a wonderful tool to support the Achilles tendonitis is when the tendon becomes “use it or lose it” theory. As podiatrists we get great satisfaction out of keeping you walking and active and this is one of our ways of achieving our goal.
